Baby Beans
Parent and Tot Trampoline and Tumbling Program
Our Baby Beans classes for 1 & 2 year olds are an interactive time for parents and their tots in which the instructor gives some skill goals and encourages guided exploration with these goals in mind. These classes allow the tots to do as they choose with their parents close by, and achieve motor skill milestones through the varied stimulation offered by trampoline and tumbling apparatus as well as see little ones just like them having fun
Jumping Beans
Preschool Trampoline and Tumbling Program
This is truly an amazing program! You won't find weekly obstacle courses here. As a matter of fact that's why the Jumping Bean classes at American Powerhouse T&T are 30 minutes long. Research has shown that children under five can stay focused for a maximum of 30 minutes under direct instruction, and we are very in tune with what keeps things fun for little ones. We hear over and over that our Jumping Beans want to be here more than anywhere else, and beg to come every day. The fact that our head preschool coach has a degree in Early Childhood Education, and is like a magnet to children, could have something to do with it. We are here for the kids, and the smiles and laughter in our classes prove it!
The Jumping Bean preschool trampoline and tumbling program at American Powerhouse T&T for children ages 3-5 begins to offer skill oriented instruction yet with the aid of music and props to keep things fun and child directed. Preschool age children will rapidly reach motor skill milestones through the varied stimulation offered by trampoline and tumbling apparatus. We also gently weave cognitive skill development into the program by utilizing the latest in brain research to combine movement with academics to begin forming concrete operations with things like shapes, colors, numbers, etc..As safety is such and important focus for American Powerhouse T&T our Jumping Bean teacher to student ratio is 5:1, and both the Jumping Beans& Baby Beans have the gym to themselves during their class time.back to top
Hoppers & Bouncers
Recreational Trampoline and Tumbling Program
It's no secret that kids like to jump! Jump on beds, couches, chairs or anything else that may boost them higher into the air than they can on their own. While that may not be a great thing at home, it's what we do best. We have trampolines to jump on, double mini tramps with padded landing areas to jump off of, and even our tumbling floor is designed with super bouncy rods to not only cushion landings but catapult take offs! American Powerhouse T&T has more than 10 rebounding devices so that kids can bounce safely and supervised in an action packed, fun filled kid oriented space!
Competitive Trampoline and Tumbling Program
As the only Competitive T&T program in the Sacramento Area, the competitive trampoline and tumbling program at American Powerhouse is on the right track to becoming one of the most dominate in the country. American Powerhouse T&T opened it's doors with two National Champions relocating from their prior gym, Feather River Gymnastics, and our growing team has already begun to Òbring home the goldÓ. One of the big attractions of the competitive aspect of trampoline and tumbling is that there are competitive levels for the young beginner as well as the seasoned veteran. The other big advantage is that the sport does not require as great of a time and financial commitment that many other competitive sports require.
Our commitment to excellence begins with the equipment, with the State of the Art competitive trampolines imported from Germany that are the standard for the Olympic Games. Our coaches not only have an extensive successful T&T background, but also know that a positive coaching philosophy is what ignites the passion for success in a young athlete. The competitive program at American Powerhouse T&T continues to offer special emphasis on safety, fun, strength, flexibility, and specialized skill development. However, team athletes begin to focus on mental preparation, goal setting, team interaction, nutrition, and the psychology of sport. The athletes meet between 2-4 days a week for 2-3 hours depending on their level. The American Powerhouse T&T Competitive Team participates in USA- Gymnastics sanctioned meets at the Local, State, National, and International level.back to top

Extreme Sports Class
This is a great class for teens to get together in a fun environment with guys and gals their own age every Friday night. If you know a teenager that seeks adventure and adrenaline, but know that safety needs to be present, don't miss Full Tilt Friday!
Full Tilt, our extreme sports class is specially designed with the skier, snowboarder, wake boarder, and skateboarder in mind. Techniques developed on the trampoline are directly related to aerial "stuntingÓ in extreme sports. Our equipment goes into overtime as these teens hit the gym, and our awesome coaches with a flair for the daring keep the class challenging but controlled. Time is spent developing flipping and twisting both on and off axis. These one hour, weekly classes also work on increasing the flexibility and strength needed to acquire the most difficult skills. Hangin' at American Powerhouse on Friday nights will give you skills that take forever to learn on your own.back to top
Power Tumbling for Cheerleaders
Soon after we opened our doors cheerleaders began tumbling through them. Some pretty smart Moms thought it would be a great idea to go to a gym that specializes in power tumbling to improve the tumbling skills of their cheerleaders. Well, they were right! American Powerhouse proudly boasts an 80 foot tumbling rod floor to make the most out of those powerful passes. Combine all of our specialized tumbling apparatus and veteran tumbling coaches to the fact that this is the ONLY gym in the Sacramento area that competes Nationally in the sport of Power Tumbling, and you see why our Power Tumbling Program for Cheerleaders is our fastest growing program.back to top
The American Powerhouse Power Tumbling Program develops three major cheer areas, tumbling, aerial stunting, and conditioning. We work predominately on increasing the tumbling skill ability of cheerleaders up to age 18 through the use of our varied tumbling apparatus. These one hour one or two time per week Power Tumbling classes are taught in a progression oriented format beginning with skills such as round offs and back handsprings progressing to multiple skill passes that include double flips and multiple twists. Our program uses the trampoline and rebounding devices to increase the skill dynamics and visual aesthetics of the aerial stunts performed by cheerleaders. Finally, the ability to perform at a high level requires a significant amount flexibility, strength, and endurance. We spend time dedicated to sport specific conditioning designed to help cheerleaders become the best at their sport.back to top
